• MA in Psychology, with an in-depth focus on adult psychotherapy.  I draw on this for my mainstream psychotherapy work.

• Graduation as a Pathwork Helper following 7 years formal Pathwork^® training and a 2 year supervised apprenticeship at the New York Region Pathwork Center in Phoenicia, NY.  I draw on this training for my work as a Pathwork Helper and for my work in transpersonal psychotherapy and spiritual counseling.

• Graduation as a Core Energetic Therapist from the Institute of Core Energetics in Manhattan.  This involved  a 4 year training in emotionally expressive and body-oriented psychotherapy.

• Graduation from the Society of Souls 3 year training in Integrated Kabbalistic Healing.  I draw on this for my spiritual healing work.

• I was the Coordinator for the Pathwork Helpers Association of North America (www.phana.org) for 5 years.  I was also a founding member of the North American Pathwork Association (www.napathwork.org), and was the Coordinator of this Council in 2005-2006..

In my practice I also draw on considerable life experience -- as a man, friend, lover, husband, father, grandfather, employee (over 4 decades in 3 different countries), sportsman, reader, and struggler with the majority of the most common problems and challenges of ordinary life.

My earlier professional career drew on additional qualifications, including an MA in Economics, two professional computer qualifications, and a professional qualification in library and information science.
